Guess what? There is a new play called “Elliot & Me”–a musical comedy based on the life of songwriter Elliot Willensky and his bond with younger brother Steven (Willensky). It’s a heartfelt story of brotherly love including Elliot’s rise to “writing stardom” penning hits for The 5th Dimension, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston. The score includes all these songs and yes, the show-stopping number “The Singer” delivered by Broadway actor Eric Briarley with tenderness, fire and passion. “Elliot & Me” is filled with humor, colorful personalities, unexpected situations, and uplifting musical moments.
